Your work syncs even if you close the app. Signed events queue locally and upload in the background using iOS BGTaskScheduler — with exponential backoff retry (5s → 30s → 2m → 5m intervals, up to 5 attempts) to handle network hiccups gracefully. Sync status shows pending counts so you always know what's queued.
